The Format
A weekly pickleball league split into two separate divisions:
Men's League — 6 pairs
Women's League — 6 pairs
Each division runs its own round robin — every pair in a division plays every other pair across the season.
When
Every Tuesday, 7:00pm–9:30pm
7:00–7:10 — Ladies' warm-up
7:10–7:20 — Men's warm-up
7:20–9:30 — Matches: Men's and Women's leagues alternate round by round (5 rounds each, 12 min per round: 10 min game + 2 min turnaround)
How Matches Work
Games are played to 10 minutes or first to 15 (whichever comes first), with a 2-minute turnaround between games
3 courts running simultaneously
Each pair plays a new opponent every round
Scoring & Standings
Win = league points, with point differential as a tiebreaker
Standings updated and posted weekly
Positions 1–6 tracked separately for Men's and Women's leagues
Substitutes
Subs are allowed on regular league nights
No subs on Championship Tuesday — pairs must play as they registered
PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER IF YOU CANNOT MAKE THE LAST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH)
In the event of injury, the league organiser must approve any substitution
Full Rules
Match Format
Games played to 10 minutes or first to 15 points, whichever comes first
Win by 2 where time allows; if the clock runs out, highest score at the 10-minute mark wins
Standard pickleball serving rules apply (underhand serve, diagonal court, one serve per side unless partner rule applies)
Non-volley zone ("the kitchen") rules apply as standard
Traditional side-out scoring
Conduct
Turn up on time — late arrival may mean forfeiting your round
Self-officiated; disputes settled by mutual agreement, organiser has final say if needed
Respect the 2-minute turnaround — be ready
Attendance & Subs
Can't make it? Let the organiser know in advance so a sub can be arranged
Subs allowed on regular league nights only — not on Championship Tuesday
The final Tuesday of each month is Championship Tuesday.
Top 3 in each league play off for podium positions (1st–3rd)
Positions 4–6 in each league play off for placings (4th–6th)
Winners crowned across both divisions, with medals/presentation to close the night
